Eng. Batumbya is a registered Civil/Structural Engineer with over 40 years of experience in the Engineering profession, a Fellow of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers and on the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers, FIDIC.  He is the Managing Director of MBW Consulting Engineers, a member of the Uganda Association of Consulting Engineers.

Eng. Batumbya is a well‐known structural engineer with a long reference of successfully executed professional assignments including conceptual, feasibility and detailed designs for numerous multi‐ storey buildings, factories, bridges and other structures, prepared tender documentation, procured contractors and supervised construction activities.
